Specialist, Franchise Business (Training)

Join our team as a Specialist, Franchise Business (Training) where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering Franchise learning solutions that enhance the performance of employees and business in alignment with the organizational goals and strategies.

  • Develop and manage the execution of Franchise Training program. Apply learning and development expertise to influence the development of effective training tools. Assist with the development of broad, long-term training/learning initiatives.
  • Identify and monitor training intervention in the franchise department to provide business outcomes. Design, plan, and implement training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs. Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, etc.
  • Support and mentor new employees during their probation period to ensure they are trained adequately and in line with industry standards. Be part of the hiring process by interviewing candidates to find the right skills based on industry standards and review employees' performance during the probation period.
  • Conduct training audit on the stores to make strategic training and resource allocation decisions in line with business objectives. Ensure all required certificates for HSE, Food and Safety, UAE municipality are in place to run the business efficiently.

Develop Training Center of Excellence (CoE) to raise training standards, boost productivity, address emerging skills gap, and align training & research with industry needs. Responsible for training the staff on overall operations, customer service, hygiene, and safety.

  • Facilitate training programs and Brand Initiatives, delivering hands-on training; ensures effective and successful implementation of training and development initiatives. Provides feedback on program design based on actual experience using materials, knowledge of business objectives, and participant understanding. Adapts real-time training/learning delivery and implementation to meet needs.
  • Support the execution of Customer Experience Review through training and shadowing sales team to ensure clarity and calibration on operating system standards. Develop training programs to determine eligibility and ensure flawless execution of operating and training systems.

Translate broad organizational goals into actionable and operationally meaningful learning development information. Identify needs, develop strategies and tactics to improve operational performance.

  • Communicate processes and gather information for consulting and influencing operational performance. Respond to differences between Company & Franchise systems. Consult and collaborate on various subject matters.
  • Monitor learning effectiveness and keep managers apprised of projects' status. Provide insight on trends and performance. Stay knowledgeable of operations, new systems, policies, and procedures, new products, and initiatives.

Serve as the expert on training systems. Assist with budget monitoring, maintain knowledge of training techniques, skills, and competencies. Stay informed about successful methods and approaches utilized in the industry and advancements in learning.

  • Align the training goals and strategies with the organization's goals and strategies. Identify and prioritize the training needs and opportunities based on the organizational and individual performance requirements.
  • Plan and budget the training resources and activities based on expected outcomes and ROI. Monitor and control the quality and performance of the training function and providers.
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the training function and interventions. Continuously improve and innovate the training function and interventions based on feedback and best practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
