Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical assistance to install, service, and repair equipmentProvide installations and upgrades under GxP environmentsFamiliarize and train customers for basic operation of the equipmentSecure customer acceptance of installation and repair sign-offRe-qualify the entire instrument after service repair by running complex experiments for verificationDo computer and software-upgrades on customer-siteInstall and service our magnets dedicated to Magnetic Resonance SystemsTechnical 1st level customer support via telephone, TeamViewer, E-Mail etc.

Independently plan and execute service calls in dialogue with local SLS managementPerformance of Periodic Preventive Maintenance tasksHandling of cryogens refilling tasks (handling of liquid Helium and liquid Nitrogen)Participation and performance in other related tasks as assigned by the managerDocumentation of the performed activities with the help of service reportsSupport sales team on new sales and other sales campaigns (e.g.

consumable materials/ supplies)Collaboration in special projects as assigned by managerCoordination with local country and third-party agents as well as factory-based divisions such as shipping, administration, and product developmentServe as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and company to ensure customer service satisfactionPerform other duties as required
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
Computer scientist, Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Biotech, Biology, or Chemistry discipline (and/or Basic technical education, e.g.

multimedia electronics engineer, Electronics engineer HF / FH)Knowledge of NMR, analogue electronics, high voltage circuitry/circuits, cryogenics, and ultra-high vacuum technology desirableStrong computer knowledge in Windows (Linux is an added bonus)Fluency in English language (spoken and written, C1 level)Strong troubleshooting- and analytical skills with strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentationExcellent customer focus with ability to reliably respond to inquiries, communicate and interact with scientistsStrong verbal, written, MS Office, computer, technical data, and networking communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand mannerExcellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize, multitask, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environmentAbility to satisfactorily complete position training requirementsIndependent and responsible method of workingDistinct ability to work in a team and high degree of flexibility and willingness to be challengedPossesses the ability to think and perform tasks logicallyAbility to maintain a valid passport and travel, approximately 60-70% as required (mainly in Middle-East and Switzerland)Driving licence cat.
