Trans Skills Group is seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Technology to join our dynamic team in the cryptocurrency sector.


Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and will be responsible for steering our technological initiatives. This role requires a leader who can drive innovation and ensure our technological framework is robust enough to support our strategic objectives.

Main Duties Include:

  • Crafting and communicating a comprehensive technological strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives and positions us as a leader in cryptocurrency advancements.
  • Overseeing the technology division, promoting a culture of teamwork and creativity while managing software development, blockchain engineering, IT, and cybersecurity units.
  • Collaborating with product management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure our technological capabilities meet market demands and customer expectations. Additionally, leading research and development efforts to identify new technologies and enhancements that can yield competitive advantages.
  • Guaranteeing that our technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient, providing dependable platforms for users while safeguarding our assets and information against cyber threats.
  • Managing the technology budget, optimizing resource distribution, and ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
  • Establishing comprehensive IT policies and procedures that adhere to industry regulations and best practices, particularly in relation to security, data privacy, and anti-money laundering (AML) standards.
  • Staying informed about emerging trends in blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and overall fintech innovation.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning within the technology team, ensuring that skills and knowledge remain current and that team members are motivated and engaged.


Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, complemented by business education (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive leadership experience in a technology role within the cryptocurrency or related fintech sectors, with a proven track record of scaling technology teams and infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency regulations, security protocols, and a strong inclination towards technological innovation.
  • Demonstrated transformative leadership in managing software development, IT infrastructure, and security operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business planning capabilities, with the ability to translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as a Vice President of Technology, CTO, or in another senior technology leadership position within a company recognized for its technological innovation.
  • A successful history of launching new products, services, or enhancements in the cryptocurrency or blockchain sectors.
  • Active participation in the tech community as a thought leader or contributor to open-source projects.
