Responsibilities :

  • During the interim and year-end audit cycle, to manage the review of assigned tax reporting packs submitted to Group Tax in Dubai (and any other related documents / correspondence by the various DP World Group entities), as part of the DP World global tax reporting process.
  • Manage the established Group Tax Risk Register, including adding, removing and updating existing group-wide tax risks bi-annually (prior to the interim and year-end audit cycles), discussing and driving progress in resolving or mitigating tax risks with DP World's global business units.
  • Provide tax planning advice and manage relevant stakeholders in Head Office, Regional Offices or Local Business Units in relation to projects, including acquisitions, divestments, setting up new Joint Ventures, financing and cash-extraction, and perform other projects related duties as assigned, as and when required by the Vice-President Group Tax.
  • Manage the established annual tax budget review and forecasting process; a procedure that is a key part of the annual budgeting cycle lead by Group Management Reporting.
  • Maintain the established Group Tax Policy to ensure its ongoing suitability to the requirements of the Group Tax team and the evolving tax landscape of the Group.
