JOB OVERVIEW:

The facialist administers professional facials to our guests.

They must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa's specific facial treatment offerings.


They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness and beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests.


REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Diploma obtained from a recognized Beauty Training facility with qualifications in either
    Skin Care & Beauty / Cosmetology / Aesthetics or Somatology
  • City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP / Dermal Aesthetics
  • A minimum of
    3years post graduation, professional experience in a city spa / cruise ship spa / hotel spa / Aesthetic clinic or private practice
  • Skilled & confident to perform all standard Skin Care & Aesthetic services in addition to body care (massage etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of Skin Care services & Spa/Skin Care products at all times
  • Ability to communicate with proper grammar in English
  • Ability to give a timely services providing a true relaxation and beneficial experience to each guest
  • Ability to focus attention on client's needs
  • Ability to priorities, organize and follow up
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest information and data
  • Ability to recommend and sell retail products to clients for Home Care
  • Physically able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day
  • Provide consistent professional facial treatments in accordance with company protocols
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the business
