Position Overview: As a Project Management Officer (PMO) in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of strategic suppliers, including major Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) relationships. Your role will involve ensuring alignment across working groups, positively influencing stakeholders, and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives delivery framework for the Technical department. Additionally, you will provide regular updates and reporting to project sponsors and Technical's leadership team on project/initiative execution, ensuring effective management of risks and non-delivery. Your responsibilities will also include measuring and accurately reporting benefits/savings achieved from the delivery of strategic initiatives and strategic partnership activities. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with the 'Digital & Data' team to rollout and own a suite of reporting and visualization dashboards using tools such as PowerBI. This role will require you to be a 'Big Data' champion, working cross-functionally across Technical to drive a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall performance of strategic suppliers, including major MRO relationships, to ensure alignment and optimal outcomes.
  • Lead the implementation of a strategic initiatives delivery framework for the Technical department, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Project Management).
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in managing strategic suppliers and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring and reporting benefits/savings.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as PowerBI.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the aviation industry or related sectors is advantageous.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar qualifications are desirable.
