Caterpillar Cat Digital Division is looking towards the future and expanding its services sales through the eCommerce channel. We have an exciting opportunity for a
Lead Digital Consultant to join the eCommerce Global Dealer Standards team.

The eCommerce Global Dealer Standards team provides expertise and thought leadership to the enterprise by establishing and achieving eCommerce global standards for our distributors, driving an improved and consistent eCommerce customer experience.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead global deployment execution of Cat Central app, a part of Caterpillar's world class eCommerce solutions with our enterprise, industry, and Dealer partners.
  • Assist appropriate business units and Dealers to identify gaps and issues requiring careful analysis and coordinate efforts to provide solutions.
  • Collaborate to understand country requirements for Cat Central deployment, document business requirements, and obtain development commitments. Mitigate deployment risks and appropriately address issues.
  • Identifies and documents gaps, providing business requirements back into the Cat Digital Product Management organisation. Manages backlog of requirements and drives prioritization to initiate product enhancements based on country requirements.
  • Interact and gain experience with Cat Central and other digital solutions/capabilities to advance digital acumen. Interact extensively with appropriate digital team members, capability owners, enterprise partners and Dealers to understand the appropriate capabilities, integration points and deployment status and drive deployment of eCommerce capabilities, focusing on delivering customer and business value.
  • Works with appropriate business unit, industry group and Dealer contacts to drive digital execution within the framework of enterprise tools, processes, and strategies.
  • Drives proper collaboration, coordination, training, communication and alignment among related areas, projects, and strategies within the team and with internal and Dealer partners.
  • Drives and builds digital awareness through communication and identity programs in global regions and multiple business units, industry groups and Dealers.
  • Drives efforts related to futurefocused assessment of global and industry impact related to digital programs and deployments and helps provide direction.
  • Tracks and monitors progress, typically via metrics reporting.
  • Other job duties assigned as needed.

Skills and Experience:

Basic Requirements:

  • A bachelor's level degree, preferably in eCommerce, digital marketing, technical marketing, or communications or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong business acumen with a selfdirected approach to work
  • Ability to demonstrate digital capabilities and eCommerce competency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. This position requires strong skills working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, and the ability to influence and resolve differences and issues
  • Stakeholder management
  • Process management
  • Previous experience working for Caterpillar or a Cat dealer
  • Digital development experience (product ownership, business analysis, agile/scrum) is desired
  • Project and program management, including communication and change management planning

Additional information:

Flexible working hours will be required to support the global nature of role. Some travel is required (up to 15% of working time)
