Business Development Representative

Job Title:
Business Development Representative (Technology Consultancy)

Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze client needs and pain points to tailor technology consultancy solutions accordingly.

Lead Generation:

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted lead generation strategies.

Client Engagement:

  • Initiate and maintain effective communication with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and goals.
  • Conduct virtual or inperson meetings and presentations to showcase our technology consultancy services.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with the technical team to create tailored proposals and solutions based on client requirements.
  • Ensure proposals align with the client's business objectives and demonstrate the value of our consultancy services.

Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and update the sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular reports on the status of leads, opportunities, and revenue forecasts.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Close deals and secure new business partnerships, meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Foster longterm relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or crossselling additional services.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including marketing, sales, and technical teams, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative in the technology consultancy industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions and consulting services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to business development.
