We are working witha prestigious international law firm based in Dubai dedicated toproviding toptier legal services to their diverse clientele acrossthe GCC region. They are currently seeking a dynamic andexperienced Finance Manager to join their team. In this role youwill oversee the general accounting function of our businessensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.Furthermore you will manage a team of accountants and will beresponsible for the overall financial health of the firm. The idealcandidate will have strong expertise in VAT audit and corporatetaxation with a background in law firms or alternativelyconsulting/advisory or other professional services firms in theUAE.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Leadand manage the accounting team ensuring efficient and accurateperformance of all financialfunctions.
  • Overseedaily accounting operations including accounts payable accountsreceivable general ledger andpayroll.
  • Prepareand analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements andreports.
  • Ensurecompliance with UAE VAT regulations and manage VAT filings andaudits.
  • Implementand maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the firm sassets.
  • Managethe annual audit process liaising with external auditors to ensuretimely and accuratecompletion.
  • Overseecorporate taxation matters and ensure compliance with all relevantlaws andregulations.
  • Developand monitor financial strategies and performance metrics to achievebusinessobjectives.
  • Providefinancial insights and recommendations to senior management tosupport strategicdecisionmaking.
  • Continuouslyimprove accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency andaccuracy.


Requirements

Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a relatedfield.
  • Professionalcertification (e.g. CPA CMA ACCA) is aplus.
  • Minimumof 3 years of management experience in theUAE.
  • Strongknowledge of UAE VAT regulations audit procedures and corporatetaxation.
  • Provenexperience in a law firm or alternatively in consulting/advisory orother professional servicesfirms.
  • Exceptionalleadership and team managementskills.
  • Excellentanalytical problemsolving and organizationalabilities.
  • Strongcommunication skills both written andverbal.
  • Proficiencyin financial software and MS Office Suite particularlyExcel
