In this role you will have the opportunity:

Responsibilities:

  • General accounting of daytoday bank and cash transactions
  • Allocation of Monthly Costs and Overheads to business units/ based on SLA's
  • Preparing Fixed Asset Accounting through Fixed Asset Module.
  • Transacting and validating Inter Company transactions.
  • Booking all Payables Invoices in the Oracle system and matching with PO.
  • Managing bank and cash transactions and monthly cash management reconciliations.
  • Preparation of Monthly VAT reports based on Input and Output VAT reports generated from Oracle and reconciling with Trial Balance.
  • Maintaining Daily, Weekly and Monthly Cash Flow Statements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Assisting in the preparation and support of annual audits and monitoring of internal controls and compliance
  • Maintenance of Group Fixed Assets, Payables, Cost Allocations and Bank/Cash transactions

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 8 years working in FA & A role for Joinery / Construction companies in the region.
  • Shared Services experience preferred
  • Bachelors / Masters in Commerce
  • Professional Communication (Written and Verbal).
  • Experience of financial accounting and Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud ERP
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT and Word).
  • Should have experience in bank financing and dealing with banking requirements
  • Proactive and Problem solving skills
  • Timely and diligent performance of activities
  • Submitting reports and deliverables by its due date
  • Any other deadline as determined by the Finance Manager
