3. Job objectives


Completion of accounting and financial operations efficiently and effectively in accordance with the approved policies and procedures in this regard and in line with international accounting standards,
and providing support and assistance with regard to all accounting and financial tasks of the various departments, sections and units of the center, which leads to raising the level of performance and achieving goals and supporting the vision and mission of the center.


4. Main and general duties and responsibilities
1 Participate in the preparation of draft work plans for the department and its approved programs and procedures.
2 Adherence to the accounting policies and procedures of the Center, and the use of international accounting standards.

3 Participate in preparing and reviewing the annual budget of the center after coordinating with all departments, departments and other units and collecting it with the rest of the budgets of departments, departments and units.

4 Providing the necessary inputs for the preparation of annual budgets.

5 Preparing accounting entries, exchange vouchers, and daily entry vouchers, and entering them into the relevant accounts in the accounting system.

6 Review suppliers' invoices, ensure that they conform to purchase orders and receipt authorizations before preparing payments, ensure that invoices are mathematically correct, check evidence supporting disbursement, and ensure their compliance with laws and regulations.

7 Preparing the monthly financial statements and distributing them to the relevant departments.
8 Perform monthly and annual reconciliation of balances (revenues and expenses) and conduct settlement documents.

9 Reviewing and auditing all payments, revenues, purchases, fixed assets, depreciation, and accounting documents such as exchange vouchers, checks, invoices, and others.

10 Preparing the trial balance and financial statements for the group and other required financial reports

11 Follow up the increase and decrease in the disbursement of various items and prepare monthly reports in this regard.

12 Analyzing the actual performance in comparison with the budgeted plans.


13 Participate in the control in respect of all payments, receipts, purchases, fixed assets, depreciation and accounting documents relating to vouchers, checks and invoices and act as the examining body prior to transfer for approval.

14 Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the necessary support to facilitate the audit process.
15 Preparing and submitting annual and monthly financial statements and reports to the
Center.
16 Carry out any other work related to financial affairs or any tasks assigned to him by the line manager

5. Requirements and conditions for filling the position

5.1 Academic Qualifications:


University qualification (Bachelor's) in accounting or financial management, preferably holders of a specialized professional qualification after a bachelor's degree in accounting or financial management (such as CPA fellowship).


5.2 Practical experiences:

  • Practical experience for 4 years in the field of accounting, financial control and auditing for holders of a university qualification, including two years in a supervisory position in similar institutions
  • Practical experience for 6 years in the aforementioned field for holders of a 3year post
- secondary diploma.

  • Practical experience for 8 years in the aforementioned field for holders of a twoyear diploma after high school

5.3 Functional Competencies:
Level

Advanced knowledge of international practices in accounting and auditing and methods and systems of financial control and auditing. middle

Full knowledge of the laws, regulations and systems of procurement, tenders and auctions in force in the UAE. advanced

The ability to analyze financially and prepare and interpret financial indicators. advanced
Familiarity with balance sheet preparation and final accounts advanced

Contract length: 12 months

Pay:
AED25, AED30,000.00 per month
