ACHVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Performing regular maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting electrical components, lubricating moving parts, and checking refrigerant levels
• Identifying and resolving HVAC system problems using specialized tools and equipment
• Replacing faulty components in HVAC systems, such as compressors, motors, and thermostats
• Installing new HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties while adhering to safety protocols
• Working collaboratively with team members to enhance HVAC system performance and efficiency through inspections and upgrades
• Delivering top-notch customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns
• Keeping detailed records of all HVAC work performed, including reports and invoices
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, with a solid grasp of HVAC systems and related components
• Holding a valid AC/HVAC Technician certification or license
• Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing various HVAC system types, such as central air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance with codes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC system issues
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interactions with clients and colleagues
• Detail-oriented approach to accurately document work and maintain organized records
• Capability to work autonomously or in a team, depending on the task at hand
