You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of planning, set up and operating a newly built wood works factory, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, safety, and personnel management.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and setup a wood works factory from scratch for specific manafacturing capabilties
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of production staff.
  • Set up systems and process to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Manage and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of all machinery and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures throughout the factory.
  • Manage inventory control and procurement of raw materials.
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to management.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in woodworking.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in woodworks production, with 5 years as a Woodworks Factory Manager or similar role in large organisation in UAE.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving production targets, improving efficiency, and controlling costs.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking processes, machinery, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Fluency in English is must

Experience:

Woodworks Manager: 5 years (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Dubai: Relocate before starting work (required)
