Associate - HR MEA role is an HR generalist role whose responsibilities cover various aspects of the HR function with key focus on driving recruitment activities including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, off-boarding, in line with the company strategy.

This role will also act as an HR Business Partner for Gulf teams working closely with respective team members and related HR team members in all HR related matters.


Staffing

  • Administers staffing practices and procedures necessary to recruit and retain an effective workforce in Gulf
  • Coordinates internal and external search, selection and placement processes for job vacancies. Uses various channels and tools to ensure quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Drives employee onboarding and employee experience.
  • Coordinates immigration processes for new and current employees together with PRO.
  • Coordinates employee engagement survey rollout and action plans.
  • Supports line management regarding the employee recognition program.
  • Reviews the current MEA onboarding and offboarding programs and updates them with improvements where needed.
  • Coordinates the offer letter preparation, approval and communication for Gulf employees.

Business Partnership

  • Acts as an HR Business Partner for Gulf teams working closely with respective team members and related HR team members in all HR related matters.
  • Develops strong working relationships with Gulf employees, other members of the affiliate, management and staff, by providing advice, guidance and coaching as needed.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through communication.
  • Manages HR Announcements related to Gulf role changes, MEA births/obituaries, etc.

HR Technology and Data Analytics

  • Manages HR Technology and systems including Workday.
  • Tracks and reports HR metrics such as turnover, exit analyses, female ratio, etc. Interprets data, analyzes root causes of issues and makes recommendations to help leadership make business decisions.
  • Coordinates exit process of employees, conducts exit interviews with resigned employees and report the analysis of those interviews periodically to HR Director.
  • Supports Business Plan/Workforce planning.

Other

  • Manages Gulf life and medical insurance policy renewals and employees (de)enrollment to the program.
  • Participates in regional/global HR initiatives and HR projects as needed

Skills, Knowledge, & Qualifications:

  • Bacheelor's degree
  • Language requirements: English (Arabic is a plus)
  • At least 3 years of experience preferably in a multinational environment
  • HR background with knowledge in any of the related HR areas (such as employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations or learning and development)
  • Able to work successfully and productively in a team environment or independently and deal with multitasks effectively
  • Strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high pressure and complex environment
  • Proven analytical, planning and organizing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately and maintain mutual comfort level while relating to a diverse workforce
  • Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive
  • High energy level, ability to prioritize and demonstration of high resilience
