Barista/Logistics Coordinator

Jumeirah 1, Dubai, UAEWe are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our Team.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to our customers while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment.
You will also act as a Logistic Coordinator and be responsible for assessing need, purchasing, receiving, storing, inventorying and issuing of all materials for the clinic.
This includes professional training in techniques and practices of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost/benefit analyses.In addition, you will support the facility as a safety officer and perform compliance inspections regarding fire equipment, refrigeration maintenance, and monitors contractual compliance with outsourced contractors and third party vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and specialty beverages, according to established recipes and standardsOperate coffee brewing equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance for optimal performanceProvide friendly and attentive customer service, greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items, ingredients, and brewing methodsHandle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently, processing transactions using POS systems and following cash handling proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning coffee equipment, utensils, and serving areas, and restocking supplies as neededMonitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize wasteAdhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staffCollaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations, coordinate tasks, and provide support during busy periodsMaintain consumable product lists including inventory counts, expiration dates, and supply locationsEnsure that all medical and non medical consumables are property stored and appropriately securedEnsure proper rotation of stocks in relation to expiration dates ensuring that all materials are removed from the clinic prior to expirationOrder medical and non medical consumables to ensure supplies are available as necessaryOrganize physical and electronic invoices for presentation to the financial departmentMaintain appropriate stocks to ensure adequate supplies in case of procurement delaysMaintain a master list with contact information of all suppliers and 3rd party vendorsMonitor 3rd party vendor cleaning contracts and perform routine and random checks for compliance with cleanliness and sanitation consumablesPerform routine checks for fire equipment safety compliance measures including dates and visual safety inspectionsEnsures proper notification of appropriate personnel regarding official inspection schedule compliancePerform the functions of fire marshalOpen and close the clinic according to established proceduresFunction as a member of the code white team and safety committeesOther duties as assignedUnderstand and follow patient experience metricsUnderstand and follow HIPAA requirements when exposed to confidential health informationComputer savvyCritical thinking skillsEnglish proficiency essentialRequirementsPrevious clinic experience a positiveWillingness to work at weekend shifts A MUSTCOSHH Safety Certification a positiveA bachelor's degree in a related field a positiveExperience in the healthcare field a positiveAbility to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environmentGood time management skillsAbility to handle multiple assignments as required
