The Programmatic Adops Specialist will be responsible for supporting the strategy and trading operation of the digital sales team. You will mainly support with reporting, campaign analysis, and advert operation (such as creative trafficking, campaign monitoring), as well as creating and managing audiences using our in-house DMP.

Requirements

The role:

  • Analyze and report performance from dashboards
  • Conduct historical campaign performance analysis to help make informed decisions with support from the AdOps and Display teams
  • Campaign-setup of programmatic buys, with in-console monitoring of campaign performance against agreed KPIs
  • Set bid strategies, monitor performance, and identify and implement optimizations
  • Define and create audiences using first party and third party demographics

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team with preparation of data to support campaigns and media owners
  • Work closely with planning teams to ensure campaign plans are actioned
  • Conduct audience reviews and research for client reports
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaigns
  • Ananlysing campaign effectiveness and prepare reports for teams as required
  • Support new business requests for information on audience, budgets, and campaign performance
  • Perform all duties of ad operations including trafficking, troubleshooting, campaign optimizations, and reporting
  • Effectively communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues, etc. to client contacts
  • Perform quality assurance checks and debug issues with campaigns to ensure that line items and creative have been set up correctly and are delivering across all platforms and devices
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance
  • Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining trafficking and work-flow procedures for client accounts
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and address ideas to improve the ad ops process
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualification and skill requirements:

  • At least 2 years of ad operations and client service experience, especially with DFP
  • Experience trafficking ads for desktop, mobile, and video platforms; Prebid experience is a big plus
  • Programmatic trafficking experience; Google Ad Manager is a big plus
  • Must be technically adept within the digital ad space and be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client service skills
  • Performance-focused campaign experience is preferred
  • Ability to collaborate well with teams and proactively manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency with Excel, especially with pivot tables
  • Experience managing client budgets
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to relate results to business objectives
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills in all disciplines
  • Hands-on problem solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions
