PRM, a leading media production company, is seeking a part-time (4 days per week) Communications Intern to join our team for a 2 to 3-month term.

In this role, you will work alongside our experienced communications professionals to work on a number of communications projects that will involve either internal, external or sustainability communications strategies.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the media production industry and to develop your communications skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing communications strategies and plans
  • Draft and edit a variety of communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content
  • Support the planning and execution of events and campaigns
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare analysis reports
  • Provide administrative support to the communications team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining databases
  • Research industry best practices and provide recommendations to improve our communications efforts
  • Assist with other communications projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a communications or related university course
  • Completed at least one year of tertiary study at a recognized university
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communications tools
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Interest in media production and the entertainment industry
