We are looking for a motivated Ground Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain practical experience and exposure to various aspects of ground engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of seasoned engineers and geologists on a variety of projects involving site investigations, data analysis, and design tasks.


Your new role - responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in site investigations, such as soil and rock sampling, geological mapping, and geotechnical testing.
  • Analyzing data from field investigations and lab tests to evaluate soil and rock properties.
  • Supporting the design team in developing geotechnical designs for foundations, slopes, retaining structures, and other ground engineering applications.
  • Collaborating with engineers and geologists to assess geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Contributing to quality control procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Participating in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional development and knowledge sharing.

If you have:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • A strong academic background with coursework in soil mechanics, geology, geotechnical engineering, and related subjects.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software applications like slope stability analysis, finite element analysis, and CAD software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Initiative and a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in geotechnical engineering or related fields is a plus.
