Ensure compliance with HSE SustainabilityRisk and Resilience International standards requirements andcorresponding client Corporate and CASSprocedures.

Develop and establish CASS level HSESustainability Risk and Resilience policies procedures plans andaction strategies for the implementation of the systems to ensureattainment of Organizational goals and objectives and adherence tothe intent of the Risk Management program.

Facilitate and coordinate theimplementation of Risk Management Programs throughout CASS withdepartment heads and assigned departmentstaff.

Provide professional support guidance andadvice on the CASS systems in place and its projects regarding HSESustainability Risk and Resilienceissues.

Conduct / Review risk assessments andrecommend mitigation measures and how risks could be reduced byoutlining safe operational procedures which identify and takeaccount of all relevanthazards.

Educating and informing staff andmanagers on identified hazards and provide professional advice onHSE Sustainability and Resilience issues and risk controlmeasures.

Liaise with client Department to obtainany changes or proposed changes to the legal and other requirementsaffecting the organization from HSE Sustainability Risk andResilience aspects and establish systems to monitor compliance withsuchrequirements.

Advice legal changes to working practicesthat are safe and comply with changes or newlegislations.

Ensure to be up to date with newlegislations and liaise with officials from the regulatoryauthorities to ensure CASS is compliant with applicable mandatorylegislations.

Identify and manage areas of HSESustainability Risk and Resilience concerns within all functions ofCASS.

Plan practical and effective methods bothpreventative and remedial of promoting HSE Sustainability Risk andResilience and safe working practices.

Advise on a range of specialist arease.g. fire regulations hazardous substances safeguarding machineriesand occupational diseases etc. as and whenrequired.

Conduct regular inspections and plannedaudits to confirm compliance toHSE

SustainabilityRisk and Resilience requirements and provide improvementnotifications stating thenonconformances.

Supervise and ensure the regularinspection of firefighting safety and emergency equipment s andfirst aid supplies within the scope ofCASS.

Propose corrective and preventive actionplan with proper root causes analysis as required and ensure theirimplementation.

Provide appropriate HSE SustainabilityRisk and Resilience inductions to employees contractors and sitevisitors as per predefined awarenessplan.

Institute proper procedures foraccident/incident reporting investigation and costing of injuriesill heath damage and loss to enable the design / promotion ofaction to preclude theirrecurrence.


Respond to and investigate accidents andenforce actions as necessary under the guidance of RSEMS and EMTLeader and support and advice of SRRPD relevantteams.

Monitor that the departments maintainrecords of incidents and accidents analyze accident data andrecommend proactive solutions to reduce the frequency and severityof accidents.

Assist in developing sitespecificemergency responses procedures and evacuationplans.

Coordinate the implementation of CrisisManagement Procedures integrating client Crisis Management Systemwith CASS Emergency ManagementTeam.

Ensure regular emergency responseexercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level ofpreparedness in any emergency.

Maintainsrecords of such drills providing recommendations for emergencyresponse improvements.


Select engagecontrol and supervise Contractor activities to confirm complianceto HSE Sustainability and Risk and Resiliencerequirements.


Assess reviewand improve the HSE performance of contractors consultants partnersand suppliers involved with CASS sfunction.


Developmentimplement and coordinate HSE improvement programs for CASS tominimize HSE risks to people and property.


Benchmark CASSstandards practices and procedures against local and internationalbestpractice.


Responsible forpreparing written periodic HSE Sustainability Risk and Resiliencemanagement reports newsletters and bulletins statistics andpresentations related to HSE Sustainability Risk and Resilienceperformance as and whenneeded.


Report to the QEManager on a weeklybasis.


Attend trainings/ Seminars/ Workshops on HSESustainability Risk andResilience.


Deliver trainingcourses to CASS staffs in relevant areas asrequired.

Coordinate andconduct regular meetings with management andstakeholders.

Negotiate withmanagers and operators to try to eliminate conflict between CASSoperations and HSE Sustainability Risk and Resilienceconsiderations.

Maintain Controlof Documents and Records as per the systemrequirements.

Performs otherresponsibilities associated with this position whenappropriate.




Requirements

Bachelor sdegree in engineering from recognized university with minimum of7 years of professional HSE Engineeringexperience.

Knowledge ofOccupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirementsCertification in NEBOSH (international general certificate minimum)Certified in Incident Investigation from recognized certificationbody and IRCA approved.

Knowledge ofprinciples concepts and requirement of Risk Assessment includingCOSHH riskassessment.

Knowledge ofprinciples concepts and requirement of Environmental aspects andimpacts.

Trained on thefirefighting and first aidtechniques.

Proficient inMicrosoft Officeapplications.

Strong oral andwritten communicationskills.



Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering from a recognizeduniversity. 3 7 Years experience in similar field in maintenance& facility management. Possess good leadership skills includingthe ability to lead & motivate his team, decision makingskills, ability to perform multitasking, follow up and planningabilities, time management, and good computer skills. Very goodcommunication skills, fluent in report writing and groupfacilitation; presentation skills, and fluency in speaking andwriting in English and Arabic. Analytical thinking, problemsolving, business innovation, and customer service orientation.Excellent knowledge and intensive experience with internationalElectro-Mechanical programs and standards, functions, systems,procedures, and knowledge of quality & safety standards andprojects management.
