To ensure the successfulimplementation and achievement of business plans for the respectivefunctions aligned with Air Arabia Groups strategy.Key ResultResponsibilities1. Leads the respective teams with overall responsibility offunction related activities and relationships for Base MaintenanceWorkshops and Stores & Inventory Control.
2.Supports the executive management in establishing strategic andbudgetary plans for related areas and works with his/her teams toensure successful delivery of the respective budgets and plans.
3. Ensures that all maintenance activities conducted inAir Arabia hangar are carried out to the quality and standards laiddown by the regulatory authorities and the Air Arabia Group.
4. Partners with stakeholders for capacity planning toensure the adequacy and availability of necessary resources(manpower facilities equipment tools etc.).
5. Reviewsprocedures and processes whilst introducing key change managementprograms necessary through process improvements continuously. Thisincludes examining all current work methodologies and practices andwill continually seek ways to enhance inhouse capability to assistin reducing the overall maintenance costs.
6. Developsand implements strategies to ensure aircraft ground times areminimized and efficiently returned to service with minimal overrunrisk
7. Provides direction and guidance to teamsensuring efficient and effective aircraft maintenance On TimePerformance (OTP) in support of the safe and compliant deploymentof the fleet.
8. Analyzes and evaluates managementreports to highlight variances and identify gaps in performance;recommends and implements corrective measures and alternativecosteffective solutions as needed; Responsible for ensuringadequate staffing is in place and in line with the business plan tomeet the operational needs of the department.
9.Partners with stakeholders and mainly support functions such asFinance HR and IT to ensure costeffective utilization of resourcessystems & tools. Leverages technology to drive continuedimprovements.Key Result Responsibilities Continued 10. Partners withQuality Assurance Safety Security Department to ensure adherence tostandards and regulations and ensures timely response to auditfindings.
11. Represents Air Arabia and liaises withregulatory authorities when needed.Qualifications (Academic traininglanguages)Minimum bachelors degree in aviation Engineering or otherrecognized qualification preferably with a post graduate businessqualification. Previous experience as a certifying engineer forA320 aircraft family would be an advantage.

  • Employs a balance oftechnical expertise and interpersonal relations to help drivebusiness results and execute new initiatives that support thecompanys objectives.
  • Enhancingproductivity/increasing profitability through cost control andaircrafts optimization.
  • People management andleadership skills
  • Fluent inEnglish.
WorkExperience12 years of experience in Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance ofwhich at least 5 years will have been at a management level forheavy or base maintenance.
