The Role ofProcurement Coordinator,
Wecurrently have an opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to joinour Four Seasons Corporate team in Dubai
Thisrole reports to our Procurement Manager and will be responsible forsupporting the Manager, Procurement with assigned procurementactivities with a focus on pre-opening projects in MEA and Europe.Other procurement activities relating to FS UPI scope will beassigned as capacity allows.
You will alsoassist Managers with all supplier follow-up activities includingbut not limited to pricing, sample deliveries and to log andcoordinate internal review as needed. Assist in RFX preparation asdirected, along with acquisition of samples when required forvarious cross-functional teams to review. Review vendor quotes foraccuracy. Expedite Open Order reports, and update system DeliveryStatus as assigned. Assist with preparation of cost comparisons.Generate reports using eProcurement system. Assist Buyer andManager with preparation of vendor price increase analysis andcommunication. Assist with budget information gathering anddevelopment.
Our IdealProcurement Coordinator WillHave
1-2 years’experience within a similar position, within hospitality. Excellentoral and written communication skills; must be able to writeclearly and effectively.
Ability to work underpressure and meet various shifting deadlines in a very fast-pacedenvironment. Analytical, organizational, and problem-solvingskills.
Flexible and dependable. Proficientuser of Microsoft Office software, in particular PowerPoint, Word,and Excel. Experience and knowledge of Birchstreet Software anasset.
