As ourManager of Business Development dnata Travel you will manage andlead the support and further development of the dnata networkworldwide to enhance growth profitability and market share as wellas consolidate the assigned dnata Travel brand across the assignedregions. You will also develop and implement strategic partnershipsdefining the sales and business development strategy and plan anddeveloping the regional marketing strategy for Government TravelGlobal Corporates SME businesses and dnata Offshore and Marinebusiness liaising with internal specialist departments asappropriate (e.g Corporate Communications Marketing &Brand).

You must have aproven business development track record and ideally have strongexperience in developing and delivering sales strategies for BPO orlarge contact centres specifically within the airline and travelB2B or B2C sectors. You must be able and willing to take a hand onapproach to our business development from the ground up. You willbe based in our Dubai office with the requirement to travel asrequired to our global offices or clients.

In this role youwill:

  • Develop and implementlongterm sales strategies and policies for assigned dnata Travelbrand to maximize profitability across different lines ofbusinesses and regional partners.
  • Monitormarket dynamics adapt business strategies to changing conditionsand track competitor activities recommending process system andstrategy changes for growth.
  • Conductindependent research on clients/prospects travel market trends andkey contacts to support sales strategies and secure new globalaccounts.
  • Manage regional partnershipsincluding appointing new partners and nurturing relationships withsenior management.
  • Ensure compliance withpartner and client contracts identifying potential issues andproposing corrective actions.
  • Plan and executemarketing campaigns to enhance dnata Travels brand recognition andpositioning within assigned regions.
  • Lead theresearch pursuit and acquisition of new business leading proposalbids.
  • Collaborate with operationalstakeholders to ensure effective service delivery to dnata Travelclients and seek process improvements.
  • Lead aregional sales task force focused on achieving dnata Travels salesobjectives and foster a teambased culture.
  • Lead the Business Development Team set andmonitor performance objectives and development plans for directreports aligned with departmental goals.
  • Beaccountable for business development activities at the CEO andManaging Director levels ensuring specialized services arepositioned and sold to generate profitable revenue streams.
  • Evaluate and recommend travel managementsolutions policies technology and supplier partnerships to optimizecost for clients.
  • Manage and contribute to theannual budget for dnata Travel oversee revenue targets andefficiently allocate resources.
  • Representdnata Travel at regional conferences and sales meetings
  • Identify new business opportunities and alignobjectives for sales new products and marketing with the dnataTravel brands image andgoals.

Qualifications& Experience: To be considered for the role you must meetthe below requirements:

  • Atleast 10 years of work experience in a sales or businessdevelopment role in the travel sector BPO or largescale contactcentre including at least 5 years experience managing and leadingsales teams
  • Bachelors degree in a relevantdiscipline
  • Able and willing to be hands on inbusiness development activities from the ground up
  • Deep knowledge of the corporate travel sectorincluding consumer behaviour competitor activity and a broadnetwork of corporate travel industry contacts
  • Advanced applied knowledge of CRM tools
  • Experience working with/in the MEWA/NA regionfor a multinational organisation
  • Systematicand logical approach to solving problems
  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills in English (additional languages will be a distinctadvantage) Advanced negotiation skills and demonstrableability to influence senior level stakeholders internal andexternal to the organisation
