Requirements
Core UI/UX Design Skills: UI DesignTools Proficiency with design tools like Figma Sketch Adobe XD orsimilar for creating wireframes prototypes and highfidelity UIdesigns. UserCentered Design (UCD) Strong understanding ofusercentered design principles including research personas userflows and journey mapping. Responsive and Adaptive DesignExperience in designing for various screen sizes and devicesensuring consistency and usability across platforms (desktop mobiletablet). Interaction Design Expertise in designing interactiveelements (e.g. buttons forms animations) and defining the flow andfeedback of user interactions. Design Systems Familiarity withcreating and maintaining design systems or component libraries toensure consistency across products. Visual Design Solid knowledgeof typography color theory layout and spacing to createaesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces. Prototyping& Wireframing Experience in creating low to highfidelityprototypes and wireframes to communicate design ideas effectively.BlockchainSpecific Skills: User Onboarding in Blockchain Knowledgeof the unique challenges of onboarding users into blockchainapplications (e.g. wallet setup transaction signing private keymanagement) and designing experiences that simplify theseprocesses. Wallet and Key Management UI Familiarity with designinguserfriendly interfaces for managing wallets private keys and seedphrases while considering user security and privacy. TransactionFlows Understanding of blockchain transaction flows (e.g. gas feestransaction confirmations) and designing clear and transparent UIto manage user expectations. Decentralized Applications (dApps) UIExperience designing interfaces for dApps including handlinginteractions with smart contracts and blockchain data in a seamlessway for users. Token Economy Design Experience in designing userinterfaces for token interactions such as managing token balancestrading staking and governance participation. Security BestPractices Awareness of security considerations in blockchain UIssuch as preventing phishing safe wallet integration and educatingusers on security risks. Frontend Development Knowledge (optionalbut beneficial): Basic HTML/CSS/JS Knowledge Familiarity withfrontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) to collaborateeffectively with developers and understand implementationconstraints. Collaboration with Developers Ability to work closelywith frontend and backend developers to ensure designs areimplemented accurately and efficiently. Research and UsabilityTesting: User Research Proficiency in conducting user researchinterviews and usability testing to gather insights and iterate ondesigns. Blockchain Usability Challenges Understanding of commonusability challenges in blockchain (e.g. transaction complexitywallet interactions) and experience in solving them. A/B Testingand Analytics Experience with A/B testing and using analytics tovalidate design choices and optimize user experiences. Soft Skills:Communication Strong ability to communicate design ideas justifydesign decisions and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.ProblemSolving Ability to simplify complex blockchain processes andmake them more accessible to users through intuitive design.Empathy for Users Deep empathy for users particularly thoseunfamiliar with blockchain and a desire to create frictionless userexperiences.
