HR Assistant

Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents.
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth integration process for new employees. - Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job details, and contract documentation.
Handle employee data entry into HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and ensure data confidentiality. - Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Assist in payroll processing by gathering and verifying timesheets, leave records, and other relevant documentation.
Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, end-of-service benefits, and other compensation-related tasks. - Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations, including visa and work permit requirements.
Prepare and maintain HR documentation, such as employment contracts, disciplinary records, and performance evaluations. - Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and wellness programs. - Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing HR correspondence.
Assist with office management tasks, such as coordinating with external vendors and handling office supplies. - HR Projects and Reporting:
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, policy updates, and process improvements.
Prepare and generate HR reports and analytics as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles, preferably in the UAE.
- Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
