CloudDevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide DevOps expertise withInfrastructure as Code (IaC) to continuously build, test, anddeploy to cloud platforms.
• Perform scripting toresolve automation issues and/or deployment issues related to theAWS Cloud Platform and GitLab
• Responsible forevaluating cloud-based technical solutions/designs in accordancewith client requirements
• Provide expertise tomonitor the designing and engineering of infrastructure andapplications to the Cloud
• Responsible forensuring that all vendor cloud solutions comply with industry andGovernment-mandated security protocols, controls, andbest-practices
• Work closely with Cybersecurityresources to document controls, support accreditation, InterimAuthorization to Test (IATT) and Authority to Operate (ATO)documentation and provide metrics to comply withaudits
• Responsible for escalating issues,problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate levels forclarification and resolution
• Performunsupervised, hands-on work in DoD based cloudenvironments
• Work independently within teamenvironments to set up and maintain cloudarchitectures
• Manage multiple and competingcustomer priorities with littlesupervision
• Develop High Availability andDisaster Recovery processes in accordance with government andindustry guidelines
• Help establish DevSecOpsPipelines within the Gov Cloud Framework
  

Required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree inrelated technical discipline
• Minimum 3-10+years of hands-on experience in designing, executing, andsupporting AWS environment
• Hands-on experiencewith platform engineering
• Extensive knowledgeof scripting to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)pipelines within GitLab
• Fluent in scriptinglanguages such as PowerShell, Python, andBash
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain andmaintain a government security clearance, for which one must be aUS citizen.

• Master’s degree in relatedfield
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect– Associate or similarcertification(s)
• Experience working secureenvironments
• Experience with securityrequirements in a federal IT environment, includingFedRAMP-certified providers and FISMA requirements for acquiring anATO
• Experience with Agile and containerizationmethodologies or strategies
