PMC Civil Engineer
to support the civil engineering activities for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing reviewing and ensuring the quality of civil engineering designs drawings and documentation. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and compliant engineering solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review civil engineering designs drawings calculations and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and international standards.Provide technical input during the planning and design phases of the project.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil designs into overall project plans.Support the resolution of technical queries (TQ) and ensure that changes are incorporated into designs as required.Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction activities are aligned with design specifications.Assist in the preparation of civil engineering reports progress updates and documentation for stakeholders.Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications timelines and quality standards.Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with HSE standards and best practices.Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve civil engineering challenges during design and construction phases.
Qualifications :Education:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Experience:
710 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.Experience in a PMC environment is preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D STAAD Pro).Strong knowledge of international civil engineering standards and codes (e.g. ACI ASCE BS).Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.Strong organizational and time management skills.
