What are we lookingfor?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree inEngineering or equivalent experience

Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a comparabletechnical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or relatedindustry preferable
  • Training in food safety,associate safety, constructionsafety
  • Understanding of engineering principles– Process, Utilities, Sustainability. Knowledge ofmultiple disciplines preferred
  • Ambassador ofsustainability programs
  • Proven track record insuccessfully executing capital projects of greater than $1Mvalue.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely manageconsultant engineering firms as well as mechanical and electricalinstallation contractors in a factoryenvironment.
  • Interpersonal and influencingskills including communication and listening
  • 20to 50% travel requirement

What will be your keyresponsibilities?

  • Provide innovative sustainabilityengineering solutions that drive a competitiveadvantage
  • Ensure delivery of scope, timeline,budget, and cash flow for all assigned engineering projects inaccordance with the Engineering Work Process(EWP)
  • Accurately scope and estimate capitalprojects that are technically feasible and meet business andsegment plans
  • Communicate and collaborate withall Stakeholders and other functions (R&D, Quality,Commercial, Finance, Safety) to ensure capital project objectivesare clearly defined and achieved.
  • Key memberand contributor of the CVS (Commission, Validation, Start-up)Team
  • Effectively monitor and ensure a safe workenvironment
  • Lead site utility assessments,multi-year roadmap development, deployment, execution, andcontinuous improvement.
  • Engage associates atall levels of the business on the SiG Program through education andcollaboration
  • Support strategic discussionswith internal, cross-segment, regional, global teams, community ofpractices and stakeholders on SiG programmanagement.
  • Technically review regional andsite engineering projects via the SiG by Design program, ensuringengineering designs align with sustainability standards and drivingaccountability.
  • Develop, implement, and improveSiG training programs, including SiG by Design, capabilitydevelopment, and utility systemsknowledge.
  • Ensure the understanding ofengineering standards, encourage innovation and sharing of bestpractices related to sustainability.
  • Cultivatean innovation mindset, including investigating the latesttechnologies to drive the Mars SiG ambition of Zero Green House Gasemissions.
  • Understand relevant ESG governmentprograms/incentives.
