JobSummary:

SunshineProject Management LLC USA is looking for a Brick/Block Mason FullCrew (Laborer and Foreman). The Brick and Block Mason crew will usebricks, concrete blocks, and other stone materials to build walls,columns, fences, and otherstructures.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Performmasonry restoration work such as mortar joint tuck-pointing,masonry repair/replacement, masonry fa ade cleaning, joint sealantre-caulking and other wall fa ade repairs. Also includes sometraditional masonry construction work such as laying brick, block,precast concrete, and naturalstone.
  • Buildswalls, fences, walkways, roads, and other structures using bricks,stone, concrete blocks, ormarble.
  • Carvesout and builds structures and surfaces with bricks or concreteblocks.
  • Placesbrick or concrete blocks on mortarbed.
  • Cutsor saws bricks to fit around windows anddoors.
  • Measuresdistances to lay outwork.
  • Mixesmortar and grout to be used to laybrick.
  • Spreadsmortar onto brick or block surface with atrowel.
  • Examinesbrickwork to ensure structure is builtcorrectly.
  • Allwork is to be performed professionally andsafely
  • Removedeteriorated mortar and install new mortarjoints
  • Removeand replace deteriorated/damaged masonry such as brick, block, andstone
  • Installthrough-wall flashings at walls, vents, and othersurfaces
  • Performfa ade repairs to help maintain buildings and prevent/stop waterinfiltration
  • Laysand aligns bricks, blocks, or tiles to build or repairstructures
  • Mixesmortar (sand, cement, lime, etc.) by hand ormachine
  • Cleansconstruction site to eliminate possiblehazards
  • Loadsand unloadstruck
  • Washesand treats wall surfaces using cleaning and water repellentrestoration
  • productsasspecified
  • Erectsscaffolding and works out of aerial equipment to work above groundlevel
  • Performsother related duties asassigned.

RequiredSkills/Abilities:

  • Extensiveknowledge of bricklaying techniques andprocedures.
  • Abilityto read and interpretblueprints.
  • Thoroughunderstanding of math andgeometry.
