Hays Commercial RealEstate team have partnered with one of the country’sleading owner/operators of retail assets, who are looking to hirean experienced Property Manager to oversee an important portfoliowithin the company’s New York footprint. This Directorlevel position will be responsible for leading operations andfinances across the assigned assets, to deliver a first classexperience for high end retail brands in some of NewYork’s most desirable neighborhoods.

Your newrole

The ideal candidate will haveextensive experience successfully managing operational andfinancial performance across large portfolios, preferably withstreet level retail assets. Relationship management with tenantsand key stakeholders will be key, providing the highest level ofservice when it comes to build outs, capital projects, and leasing.Working together with in-house construction, leasing, and legalteams, you will be responsible for proactively reviewing,enhancing, and implementing business plans to maximize theperformance of each property. Knowledge of New York building lawsand ability to read and understand construction drawings is alsorequired.

Whatyou'll need to succeed

-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate,or related field.

- At least 10 years ofexperience in retail property management.

-Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead ateam and work collaboratively.

- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.

-Experience in reviewing and implementing businessplans.

- Knowledge of tenant fit-outs and capitalprojects.

- Ability to manage multiple projectsand priorities.
