Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of IT within the sports industry? Qantara Sports is excited to offer an internship opportunity in our IT department at our Dubai office.

Job Responsibilities:

As an intern in our IT department, you will have the chance to:

  • Technical Support: Assist in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems promptly to ensure smooth operations across the organization.
  • Software Development: Participate in software development projects, collaborating with team members to design, develop, and test software applications or tools that support business operations and enhance productivity.
  • Database Management: Gain experience in database management tasks, including database administration, data migration, and performance tuning. Learn how to manage and maintain databases effectively to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Cybersecurity: Learn about cybersecurity principles and best practices, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response. Assist in implementing security protocols and measures to protect organizational assets from cyber threats.
  • IT Project Management: Contribute to IT project management activities, including project planning, coordination, and tracking progress against milestones. Gain exposure to project management tools and methodologies used to manage IT projects effectively.
  • IT Infrastructure: Gain insight into IT infrastructure components, such as servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies. Assist in deploying and managing IT infrastructure resources to support business operations and scalability.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Assist in documenting IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity of operations. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and training materials for end-users.
  • Professional Development: Engage in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs designed to enhance your technical skills and knowledge of IT practices and technologies. You will receive guidance and feedback from experienced IT professionals to support your growth and development in the field.

Additional Information

Technical Skills: Proficiency or working knowledge in various IT-related areas such as:

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail when performing tasks and troubleshooting issues.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
