The EMEAaccounting and reporting function owns the GL accounting andoversees the month end closing procedures for all subsidiaries inEurope Middle East and Africa. We work across various accountingprojects providing technical support and ensuring all statutoryrequirements are compliant including preparation of financialstatements and liaison with external auditors.

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive FinancialAccounting Manager to join our EMEA Accounting and Reporting teamon a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsiblefor ensuring the completeness and accuracy of our books and recordsassisting with statutory accounting and the preparation of multiplestatutory accounts across the TikTok METAP region.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • ExternalAccounting Service Management: Manage relationships with externalaccounting service providers. Ensure accurate and timelypreparation of reporting packages on a monthly/quarterlybasis.
  • Financial Reporting Support: Supportmonthly closing procedures. Prepare quarterly reconciliationsbetween IFRS and local GAAPs for legalentities.
  • Financial Statements Preparation:Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Coordinate withexternal auditors to ensure timely completion of statutoryaudits.
  • Compliance and Standards: Keep abreastof relevant accounting standards.
Apply groupaccounting policies standards and internal control practices acrossMETAP entities.
  • AdHoc Reporting:Generate adhoc reports for regulators and Group Finance asneeded.
Qualifications

MinimumQualifications:
  • BA/BS degreein Accounting Finance or relatedfield.
  • ACA/ACCA fully qualified with postqualification experience.
  • Current theoreticaland practical knowledge of IFRS and its implications onreporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excelskills.
  • Selfdirected selfmotivated and stronglearning ability. Able to complete work independently withattention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamicenvironment.
  • Strong and collaborativecommunicator.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Practiceexperience in audit with a combination of inhouse TMT industryexperience preferred.
  • Experience with large ERPaccounting and reporting systems Oracle and HFMpreferred.
