Requirements
  • Adegree in Science or a related field; advanced degrees (Master s orPhD)preferred.
  • Arecognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE B.Ed. orequivalent).
  • Minimumof 5 years of teaching experience in science at various educationallevels.
  • Provenleadership experience within an educational setting preferably as aHead of Department or similarrole.
  • Strongunderstanding of current trends research and best practices inscienceeducation.
  • Demonstratedability to develop and implement innovative and effective teachingstrategies.
  • Excellentcommunication organizational and interpersonalskills.
  • Experiencewith curriculum development and assessmentdesign.
  • Proficiencyin integrating technology into theclassroom.
