Whatyou'll do

You’ll love whatyou do and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • You will be responsible for the dayto day beverage operations of the restaurant to ensure our guestsreceive nothing but the best experience with a particular focus onwines.
  • Wines are your passion, you will becontributing to the creation of the exciting wine selection for therestaurant as well as maintaining the list and stock levels on adaily basis.
  • You will also assist with trainingand mentoring of the entire restaurant team with a focus on winesand beverages, ensuring their knowledge is second to none and theyare able to assist our guests in the best possibleway.

  • You are aware of revenue targets andassist in making sure these are achieved and exceeded,simultaneously all costs are controlled within pre-set budgetsincluding beverage cost, payroll and otherexpenses.
  • By taking part in the daily teambriefing pre-service, you ensure the full team is well informed ofdaily changes in wine stocks, out of stocks and changes to the winelist.
  • During your daily routine, you liaisewith other departments when required to ensure an immaculatepresentation of your outlet and high standards of cleanliness aswell as maintenance are upheld at all times including restaurantfurniture, equipment, floors, fixtures andfittings.
  • In collaboration with your serviceteam, you ensure fantastic quality of beverage preparation,presentation and beverage inventory control.

  • You are passionate about our industryand are aware of all the latest F&B trends and developmentsaround the world.
  • English is the primarylanguage used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in thislanguage. Other languages including Italian, French, Spanish orGerman are highly desirable.
  • You will have arelevant professional certification or hotel school diploma andbring a wealth of past experience working for luxury hotels andfine-dining restaurants in the Middle East.
  • Youhold a Level 2 WSET certificate orhigher.
