Sr Estimation Engineer

We are seeking aSr. Estimation Engineer E&I(Electrical & Instrumentation)to join our prestigious clients teamin Abu Dhabi.
Job Summary: As aSenior Estimation Engineer you will be responsible for estimatingthe costs associated with E&I projects ensuringcompetitiveness in bids and providing technical support throughoutthe tenderingprocess.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project requirements specifications and scope tounderstand the Electrical & Instrumentation aspects of theproject.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates forE&I components of projects including materials equipmentlabor and overhead costs ensuring accuracy andcompetitiveness.
- Collaborate with the bidmanagement team to prepare comprehensive and competitive bids forE&I projects ensuring alignment with client requirementsand specifications.
- Assist in the developmentof technical proposals for E&I projects including technicalspecifications methodologies and engineering solutions.
- Liaise with vendors subcontractors and suppliers toobtain quotations for E&I materials and services ensuringcompliance with project requirements and budgetconstraints.
- Identify opportunities for valueengineering and costsaving measures in E&I designs andproposals optimizing project costs without compromising quality orsafety.
- Conduct risk assessments andsensitivity analyses to identify potential cost risks andopportunities proposing mitigation strategies to minimize projectuncertainties.
- Prepare tender documentationfor E&I projects including bills of quantities technicalspecifications and contractual terms and conditions ensuringcompliance with regulatory requirements and industrystandards.
- Participate in client meetings andpresentations to discuss E&I project requirements clarifytechnical queries and address client concerns fostering positiverelationships and trust.
- Stay updated onindustry trends best practices and technological advancements inE&I engineering and estimation methodologies implementingcontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance departmentalefficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure thatpriority is given to the internal customers complaints and viewsuch complaints as opportunities to build the trust of the saidcustomers.
- Keep a close relationship withinternal customers to enhance theirtrust.
- Create an environment that consistentlyprovides high levels of service to our internal customers andgenerally speaking to the stakeholders
- Ensurethat relevant actions are undertaken timely to avoidoverdue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering orrelated field.
- Minimum 5 years relevantexperience in Oil & Gas and other areas in the EnergySector.
- Proven experience as an EstimationEngineer specializing in Electrical & Instrumentationprojects preferably in the construction or engineeringindustry.
- Proficiency in estimation softwareand tools
- Strong technical knowledge ofelectrical and instrumentation systems equipment andmaterials.
- Excellent analytical skills with theability to interpret technical drawings specifications and projectdocumentation.
- Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams and interact with clients vendors andsubcontractors.
- Detailoriented with a highlevel of accuracy in cost estimation and proposalpreparation.
- Knowledge of relevant industrystandards regulations and codes governing E&I engineeringand construction.
- Project management skills andthe ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work underpressure in a fastpacedenvironment.
- Demonstrated ability to workconfidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels ofthe organization
- Adaptability to specialprojects and/or support to various business units asrequired
- Strong problemsolving and creativeskills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and makedecisions based on accurate and timelyanalyses.
- High level of integrity anddependability with a strong sense of urgency andresultsorientation.
