We are seeking a Sr. CivilEngineer Estimation & SubCon Management tojoin our prestigious clients team in AbuDhabi.

JobSummary: As a Sr. CivilEngineer Estimation & SubCon Management you willbe responsible for providing accurateand comprehensive estimation planning and overseeing the subconactivities associated with civil for projects in onshore andoffshore.

Responsibilities:

  • Theprimary responsibility is to prepare cost estimates and reviewquotes from subcontractors for civil projects. This involvesanalyzing project scope drawings attending meetings with clientscarryout site visits and reviewing other relevant documents todetermine the quantities of materials labor equipment and otherresources required for the project.
  • Collaboratewith project managers engineers subcontractors suppliers and otherstakeholders to gather relevant information clarify projectrequirements and ensure that cost estimates align with projectobjectives.
  • Prepare the requirements fortechnical submission including coordinating with internal andexternal stake holders for necessary documentations methodologiesengineering solutions etc.
  • Identify and have amitigation plans in place for potential risks associated with scopeand subcontracted work such as delays cost overruns and qualityrequirements.
  • Undertaking technical andfeasibility studies for execution of works.
  • Using a range of computer software forestimation and developing detailed designs as required.
  • Undertaking complex calculations to come upwith accurate reliable and timely estimations.
  • Compiling job specs and supervising tenderingprocedures.
  • Resolving design and developmentproblems.
  • Prepare a comprehensive executionplan during the estimation stage including a high level plan forscheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries in linewith the scope.
  • Prepare cash flow analysisduring the estimation stage.
  • Support theProject Managers by providing assistance on civil scopes in ongoingprojects.
  • Ensure that subcontractors adhere toquality standards and specifications outlined in projectcontracts.
  • Manage all communicationseffectively and provide efficient feedback for all processes.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of all common toolsand processes.
  • Performs other responsibilitiesas may be appropriate under the direction of his superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Aminimum of 8 years of Oil & gas experience isrequired.
  • Good Knowledge in MS Project Dynamics365 and other estimation software.
  • An energeticforwardthinking and creative individual with high ethical standardsand an appropriate professional image.
  • Astrategic visionary with sound technical skills analytical abilitygood judgment and strong operational focus.
  • Anarticulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of anorganization and possesses excellent communicationskills.
  • An excellent negotiator who isexperienced in contracts.
  • A decisiveindividual who possesses a big picture perspective and iswellversed in systems.
  • Strong problemsolvingand creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment andmake decisions based on accurate and timelyanalyses.
  • High level of integrity anddependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation.
