  • Work closely with the buildingpermit applications team to review structural designs for safety,code compliance, and adherence to departmentalpolicies.
  • Effectively communicate with clients,consultants, contractors, and authorities regarding projectrequirements and documentation for building permitsubmissions.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews ofstructural systems, models, designs, and interpret results usingstructural design software. This ensures the safety and stabilityof structures in accordance with governingcodes.
  • Perform structural analysis and designusing software and hand calculations to guarantee structuralintegrity.
  • Review all project documentation anddeliverables to ensure alignment with company policies andprocedures.
  • Manage departmental projects withthe team, leveraging familiarity with project managementpractices.
  • Support clients and company projectsby providing guidance on structural design, potential improvements,and execution.
  • Maintain, organize, and trackTSS permits, approvals, drawings, and other technical documentationto ensure easy retrieval.
  • Ensure allprojects/applications comply with company regulations and relevantauthority requirements to obtain building permitapprovals.
  • Oversee NOC (No ObjectionCertificate) processes with local and federal authorities forinfrastructure works.
  • Follow up with concernedstaff regarding approvals for permits, drawings, NOCs, and othertechnical documentation to ensure timelycompletion.
  • Escalate any unresolved issues tothe line manager and follow up untilresolution.
  • Prepare structural design reportsand recommend potential improvements for existingbuildings.
  • Calculate loads and stresses forindustrial construction and otherapplications.
  • Participate in contractor workreview and ensure adherence to contractualobligations.

What you'll need tosucceed

  • UAE Nationalwith a Family Book as per governmentrequirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree incivil engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+years' experience in similar role / Engineering Consultingfirms or municipal/ construction permittingauthorities.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.Ability to communicate well in industrylanguage.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.
  • Ability to use structuralcalculations software. Effective technicalskills.
  • Ability to work both in a teamenvironment as well as independently.
  • Highlyorganized and process oriented.
  • Ability to workin a fast-paced and deadline-drivenenvironment.
  • Possess sound work ethics,cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Ability tomaintain a high level ofconfidentiality.
