The Role
Accounts Assistant General ManagerWe require a technically strong accountant with at least 1 year ofexperience specific to the Accounts Receivable function. Thisperson will be a strong team player with experience working in anenvironment with conflicting pressures and heavy workloads and theywill be required to work on their own initiative when needing tomanage unusual and adhoc requirements.

Requirements
  • Maths and numeracyskills. Knowledge of financial accounting. Computer literacy andworking knowledge of relevant accounting software packages. Indepthunderstanding of financial reporting principles. Excellentorganizational skills. Great attention to detail. Analyticalskills. Timely allocation of cash receipts and ensuring cash flowforecasts are maintained. Responding to accounts receivable queriesas and when required. Review and posting of invoices generated bybusiness anits during the monthly invoice runs. Ensuring finalinvoices are sent to clients on invoice date. Processing of creditnotes and ensuring the required approvals are obtained. Monthlyintercompany invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany loanaccounts. Processing of various ad hoc journals related to theAccounts Receivable process.
