Weare looking for an Industrial Engineer in Winder,Georgia.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

  • Supportsthe efficient growth of the distribution network by owning LaborManagement and DC processes DC(s).
  • Is expert in processengineering and labor management.
  • Owns all LM standardcreation and maintenance along with full integrity of the LMprogram for the DC(s).
  • Partners withoperations leaders to establish operational work standards and toidentify implement operational improvementopportunities.
  • Resolves problems andprovides guidance to members of operations leadershipteams.
  • Leads cross-functionalproject teams formed to implement change and drive continuousimprovement, including analysis of key business problems anddevelopment of effective solutions.
  • Uses appropriateproblem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainableresults.
  • Assists in evaluationand design of distribution center operational processes, layout,material handling and other systems, and analysis and reporting,including estimates of returns on invested capital and developmentof business cases for approval.
  • Supports other DC LMdeployments and maintenance as necessary.
  • Validates progress andcompletion milestones
  • Values individualityand the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team bycommunicating expectations, providing guidance, deliveringfeedback, and empowering the team to be their best.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field stronglypreferred
  • 3+ years of experiencein high volume distribution preferred
  • Time & Motion,MTM, MSD or MOST experience preferred
  • Experience indeveloping, designing and/or implementing Labor Management Systems(LMS) across multiple distribution centers is a plus
  • Must be highlyorganized, and be able to handle multiple projects/taskssimultaneously
  • Experience with workmeasurement methodologies and tools with an emphasis on time studyexpertise
  • Experience in ProjectManagement
  • Experience withproductivity tracking and data collection systems
  • Possess a high degreeof financial and analytical skills
  • Excel at working andleading in a team environment
  • Ability to clearlycommunicate both verbally and written at all levels ofmanagement
  • Proficient with allaspects of Operations Management, techniques andprinciples
  • Experience in applyingand teaching Lean or other Continuous Improvementmethodologies
  • Proven track record ofsuccessful change management and accomplishments implementingproductivity and cost reduction programs
  • Lean/Six Sigmaexperience
  • Possess strongcomputer skills
  • Uses appropriateproblem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainableresults
  • Able to apply Lean methodsfor structured problemsolving
