  • Research and sourcing, industrytrends and approaches new brands or products areas to includewithin the portfolio.
  • Maintain regularcommunication with suppliers as applicable. Assist with theefficient ordering delivery and payment of merchandise to reducethe likelihood of queries and problems.
  • Toassist the Buyer to research and select from home and abroad, thebest quality merchandise suppliers have to offer at the to maximizesales and profit margins. In conjunction with the Buyer to controlthe selection of merchandise for the Sales within the agreedmarkdown and to reach the agreed stocklevel.
  • Place re-orders as applicable inconsultation with buyers and communicate relevant information toall relevant parties in planning and supplychain.
  • Maintain accurate database of vendoragreements and forward completed vendor agreements to MerchandisePlanning.
  • Consolidate buying feedback reportsand provide buyers with reports and recommendations per brandportfolio.
