JobPurpose

This position isresponsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of theReservations office contributing to exceptional results in GuestColleague and Owner/Investor goals andoutcomes.

PrimaryResponsibilities

ReservationsResponsibilities

  • SuperviseReservations Agent(s). Ensure department standards and policies areadhered to making recommendations where necessary to reach overallperformance goals
  • Ensure information in anychannel provided to guests is accurate andindividualized
  • Coach agents in areas ofupselling crossselling and ongoing skill setknowledge
  • Monitor daytoday operations to ensurecall volumes are managed in the most efficient manner possibleadministrative duties are completed and productivity ismaximized
  • Assist in preparing daily weekly andmonthly reports
  • Assist in the coordination ofnew rate offers including rate building determining operationalflows communicating offers to the hotel community and deficiencytesting
  • Ensure smooth shift changes with properpasson to the next shift
  • Report any equipmentfailures/problems & repair requests to MaintenanceDepartment
  • Respond to inquiries about hotelproducts and services by telephone fax and email according tostandard guidelines
  • Maintain complete knowledgeof all food & beverage services contents &preparation methods outlets and hotel services/features to promoteits products and services
  • Coordinate andcommunicate with all other departments to ensure a smoothoperation

TeamManagement

  • Interviewselect and recruit direct reports whennecessary
  • Identify and develop team memberswith potential
  • Conduct performance review withthe team
  • Constantly monitor team membersappearance attitude and degree ofprofessionalism
  • Prepare detailed inductionprograms for new employees
  • Prepare weekly staffschedules keeping in mind anticipated business operating budgetsand standards of service
  • Develop conductmaintain all staff training programs for team members focusing ontheir development needs providing them with new skills to meet thechanging needs of thebusiness

OtherResponsibilities

  • Beaware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergencyprocedures
  • Attend all briefings meetings andtraining as assigned by management
  • Maintain ahigh standard of personal appearance and hygiene at alltimes
  • Perform other reasonable duties assignedby the assigned by theManagement

Qualifications :

Knowledge andExperience

  • Diplomaeducation
  • Minimum 3 year of experience in asimilar capacity or minimum 3 years of experience in the area ofguest services/telemarketing
  • Excellent readingwriting and verbal communication in English language and BahasaIndonesia
  • Proficient in Microsoft Officeapplication especially MS Outlook Excel Word &PowerPoint
  • Master in operating PMS especiallyOpera
