  • To work within the nutrition anddietetics team at King’s College Hospital (KCH)Dubai.
  • To provide highly specialist advice,education and support to patients andcarers.
  • To work within the multidisciplinaryteam (MDT) and advise physicians, nursing staff and other healthprofessionals on the dietetic management ofpatients.
  • To be responsible for providingspecialist nutritional care within paediatrics, includingassessment, nutrition therapy and monitoring to patients and theircarers.
  • To act as an expert resource for themanagement of paediatric patients and educate and train health careprofessionals within the organisation whenrequired.
  • To maintain professionalaccountability for own caseload, working autonomously in a varietyof inpatient and outpatient settings including thepatient’s own home whenappropriate.
  • To work closely with the cateringteam to ensure the nutrition needs of hospital patients are met andmaintained.
  • To contribute to nutrition anddietetic policy development within the specialist area ofpaediatrics.
  • To provide the best possibleexperience for patients, carers andfamilies.
