We are looking for aMedical Affairs Manager for Middle East and Turkey. As a MedicalAffairs Manager the main purpose of your role will be to buildpartnerships with external healthcare professionals mainly in theMiddle East Region and Turkey to communicate evidence basedcritical scientific technical and development issues relating toGrifols biopharma products which are or will be marketed in yourmarkets.


What your main responsibilities will be


You will have theopportunity to:


  • Develop and execute local medical affairs plans inalignment with local business objectives guided by a seniorcolleague.
  • Have collaborative partnernshipwith Distributors.
  • Lead building andmaintaining relationships with scientific thought leadersglobally.
  • Manage the knowledge in yourrespective area acting as a subject matter expert for internal andexternal stakeholders writing summaries when needed for thecountry/region.
  • Manage scientific events likeregional advisory boards or other scientific meetings: symposiawebinars or standalone meetings.
  • Providemedical content for medical education programs for cliniciansexternally and internally.
  • Participate ininternal training programs to promote medical and scientificunderstanding of the products in the respectivecountries.
  • Attend local and regional (orglobal when needed) medical conferences on the respective diseaseareas and provide reports from these meetings for internalstakeholders.
  • Provide scientific responses toenquiries by internal and external customers.
  • Represent at strategic meetings MA meetings or subsidiaries.
  • Monitor the medical content of marketingmaterials and take the role of the medical function in the sign offprocess of marketing materials.
  • ManageGrifols Research programs including ISR RWE Research GrantsScientific Awards and educational grants.
  • Partner with Patient advocacy Regulatory and Market Access tosupport country /regional needs.
  • Managebudget and ensure compliance with Grifols processes andregulations.


Who you are

  • You have a degree in Biology Biomedicine BiochemistryBiotechnology Pharmacy or Medicine. It will be an added value ifyou have a PhD MD or PharmD with advanced knowledge in therespective scientific field.
  • You have Atleast 4 years of experience in a similar regional Medical Affairsposition in the pharma industry.
  • You haveexpert knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical basics with highestethical standards and scientific understanding (literature clinicaland basic research etc.).
  • You have strategicthinking & influence and advanced communication andrelationship building skills.
  • You speakadvanced level of English and Arabic.
  • Youhave willingness to travel.
