  • Update thepurchasing manager and the Executive Chef on rejected deliveries,short supplies and non-supply of products for alternativeactions.
  • Ensure the quality, quantity; pricesand self life of the incoming supplies are according to thepurchase orders.
  • Where appropriate obtainspecialist opinion on the quality of the supply from departmentconcern.
  • Secure the product received on behalfof the hotel and arranged deliver to them to respective departmentor stores without delays.
  • Create credit noteswhere appropriate.
  • Documentation of hotelproperties returned, send out for repairs and refilling etc.; andfollow-up on their return.
  • Update the accountspayable with all supporting at the end of theday.
  • Maintain updated documents related tosupplies on order in fine and in the inventorysystem.
  • Assist the Assistant and CostController for month-end inventories and theirreconciliations.
  • Assist the Assistant and CostController in administration of the Inventorysystem.
  • To assist in carrying out quarterly,bi-yearly, yearly inventory of operatingequipment.
  • To carry out any other reasonableduties as assigned by the Cost Controller and Assistant CostController.
