IP Services Administrator

The main responsibilities of the role areto:
- Utilise tools withinan intellectual property database to prepare trade mark, patent anddesign application forms and other routine English languagedocumentation relating to the filing and prosecution of trade mark,patent and design applications.
- Organise thetranslation of correspondence between Clyde & Co and theTrade Marks and Patent Office (i.e. arranging for letters from theOffice to be translated into English and for letters from Clyde& Co to the Trade Marks of Patent Office to be translatedinto English and Arabic).
- Liaise with casehandlers to prepare routine letters and documents (based onprecedents). This will include, for example, trade mark approvalsheets, Powers of Attorney and standard letters instructingcorresponding agents and reporting toclients.
- Management of originaldocuments
- Make telephone calls to the TradeMarks and Patent Offices.
- Accurately enter datainto the trade mark database.
- Takeresponsibility for the quality of all workproduced.
- Effectively monitor all casedeadlines.
- Provide cover for team memberabsences
- Ad hoc duties as direct by IPOperations Manager
