As a Food and Beverage Intern, you areresponsible for welcoming guests and working across several areasof Food and Beverage your placement to deliver an excellent Guestand Member experience. A Food and Beverage Intern will also berequired to manage guest queries. Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards:

  • Able to work inall areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, RoomService and Conference and Events
  • Welcomeguests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Take anddeliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels ofcustomer service
  • Prepare set ups for tablesand/or rooms
  • Follow cash handlingprocedures
  • Manage guest queries in a timely andefficient manner
  • Up-sell with latestdepartmental incentives
  • Ensure compliance ofbrand standards
  • Strive to achieve departmentaltargets
  • Ensure cleanliness of workareas
  • Comply with hotel security, fireregulations and all health and safetylegislation
  • Comply with local licensinglaws
  • Be environmentallyaware
  • Assist other departments wherevernecessary and maintain good workingrelationships
  • Proficiency in the Germanlanguage would be considered an additionaladvantage.
