Job Purpose:
• Responsiblefor leading the employee engagement & wellbeing mandateglobally which supports the banks strategy and embeds ahigh-performance culture.
• The role entails astrong capacity for influencing at the leadership level and highimpact communication, strong facilitation skills and ability totranslate complex data into tangible business actions that drivechange and results.

Key ResultAreas:

Employee Engagement & WellbeingStrategy
• Create with the head ofIC&;OD and lead a holistic world class engagement &wellbeing strategy and initiatives across the Bankglobally.
• Strategize a measurement andmanagement method that keeps the engagement metric as a keystrategic indicator within the organization.
•Create an Annual Engagement calendar for the bank as a whole– create a Governance structure and deliverymethod.
• Model a strong employee engagementapproach in order to establish effective and productive workingrelationships with senior managers and colleagues within the PICGteam to lead the development and delivery of a seamless, customerfocused organization development service to staff across thebank.
• Conceptualize and drive a comprehensiveemployee Wellbeing programme covering various elements of Wellbeing– this includes but is not limited to Physical and MentalWellbeing dimensions.
• Ensure appropriateevaluation of all engagement and wellbeing to measure effectivenessand business impact.

Surveyexecution
• Work with strategic vendors, PeopleAdvisory, Business Partners, Heads of PICG and team acrossdifferent locations to design, deploy, and evaluate effective andefficient engagement survey/s.
• Partner withthe stakeholders and lead team to ensure effective administrationof the survey globally.
• Create and/ or edittools, training materials, and resources to help partners andleaders successfully build action plans based on surveyresults.
• Facilitate the ongoing Pulse Surveyto assess engagement progress and followthrough.

Employee engagement & wellbeingdriving action
• Liaise, coordinate andinfluence senior stakeholders to shape their overall engagementbusiness change delivery plans and work with a variety of teams tounderstand the impact of change on people.
•Support the stakeholders to successfully embed the change withinthe business, maximizing their opportunity to successfully realizetheir benefits.
• To design and implement actionplanning strategy to execute and drive change on ‘surveyfindings’ such as ‘formation of Workgroups’, ‘Teams’ or ‘ActionCommittees’ as well as solutions to enrich employeequality of work life experience.
• Embed globaland country specific wellbeing initiatives and programmes acrossthe bank.
• Support and manage with internalcorporate communications team(s) an effective internal employeecommunications Bank wide related to all engagement and wellbeinginitiatives and campaigns.

Cultureinitiatives:
• Ensure culture and employeeengagement are in sync and in line with businessobjectives.
• Drive initiatives to ensure thebusiness and employees are living by Mashreq values andbehaviours.
• Create an inclusive workplacewhere employees feel valued, recognized andappreciated.
• Ensure all aspects of creating adiverse inclusive working environment are considered when makingdecisions for the company.

Employer BrandInitiatives
• Awards: Identifying Award/s thatwould build the Employer Brand – examples would be awardssuch as the Gallup Great Workplace Award, WellbeingAwards
• Drive the application process for theseawards.
• Work with Marketing, Staffing etc. todevelop plans (internal and external) to capitalize on awardswon.

Knowledge, Skills andExperience:
• The incumbent should have minimumof bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of HR orCoE experience in employee engagement or OrganisationalDevelopment. Experience in banking and finance industry or in aglobal role will be an added advantage.
•Relevant experience of working with complex engagement data andanalytics and presenting this in a meaningful and business ledapproach.
• Role holder should have strongcommunication, presentation, facilitation, influencing,inter-personal and stakeholder managementskills.
• High level of proficiency in bothexcel and HRIS and engagement platforms isrequired.
• Exposure to and qualifications inOrganisational Development/HR quality standards or Certificationssuch as CIPD is desirable
