Main Purposeof Role:

Core Engineering Role toproduce the volume of engineering activities on projects and withinthe business asrequired.


Qualifications:

  • MinimumBachelors degree in Engineering with relevant discipline fromrecognized university
  • Masters degree inrelevant discipline will be an addedadvantage.

Knowledge / Experience(Skills):

Essential

  • 6 10 years of Oil& Gas DesignExperience.

  • Previousexperience inRegion

Technical Knowledge and Skills (DisciplineSpecific):

  • Knowledge ofbasic engineering processes
  • Familiarity withinternational codes standards and engineeringpractices
  • Must be familiar with all aspects ofdesign from concept to detaileddesign
  • Technical analysis of engineeringproblems
  • Preparation of noncritical engineeringdesign documents
  • Preparation of specificationsdata sheets sizing calculations for flow elements control valvesand safety relief valves technical requisitions instrument scheduleI/O schedule Cause and Effect diagrams logic diagrams loop diagramshookup diagrams instrument interconnection diagrams instrumentlocation drawings cable routing drawings bills ofmaterial.
  • Knowledge in the development ofspecifications for control and automation systems (DCS PLC SCADAHMI) flow metering skids online analyzers ESD Systems fire and gasdetection systems telecommunication and publicaddress systemsaccess control systems etc.
  • Review of vendordocuments and drawings.
  • Knowledge of fieldtesting procedures and field testequipment.
  • Knowledge of safety instrumentedsystems and SIL assessment studies and reportpreparation.
  • Must have a ability to prepareengineering deliverables as per company technical competencystandards.
