As part of the regionalleadership team, engage the Country Directors and their teams toincrease the value they attach to delivering marketing andcommunications as part of their own work. Develop an effectivenetwork across the region including xHMG communicators to supportDBT’s priorities. Increase staff engagement and alignmentwith the overall strategic vision for DBT in the region byoverseeing internalcommunications.

Management(20%)

Manage the DBT MEaPcommunication and marketing team, and the wider cohort of marketingliaisons. Develop a strong and complementary working relationshipwith senior FCDO communications colleagues across the region. Takeresponsibility for the region’s marketing budget devisingand overseeing the process of allocating funds to teams in theregion, being accountable to ensuring it is spent in accordancewith Managing Public Money guidance and delivering maximum valuefor the taxpayer.

  • Direct management of 2 staff plus QAfor 2 staff
  • Responsible for regional marketingbudget
