Family Office Business Director

Reporting to the Executive Chairman you willlead the operations and risk teams to deliver positive returns tothe company. Leading by example the BUSINESS DIRECTOR will overseethe daytoday operations of the family office and will serve as thequarterback of the external advisors and service providers ensuringthat all their services are provided in a highquality andcosteffective manner. You will also work closely with themultifamily office to increase the performance of the business bydriving sustainable and continuousgrowth.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

  • Oversight ofinvestments marketing compliance operations administration IT HRand finance functions
  • Act as a Director inany required corporate entity and register with the local regulatoras needed
  • Design and implement investmentsbusiness strategies plans and procedures. Set comprehensive goalsfor performance and growth.
  • Establishpolicies that promote company culture and vision. Lead employees toencourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Oversee the companys daily operations and employees work (ITMarketing Sales Finance Charity etc.)
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metricsResponsible for systematic due diligence of all operations andinvestments Write and submit reports to the Executive Chairman inall matters of importance Participate in expansion activities(investments acquisitions corporate alliances etc.)
  • Manage relationships with partners/vendors
  • Responsible for revenue tracking invoicingand collection
  • Responsible for annualfinancial statements and all statutory filings. Responsible for anyregulatory and/or tax reporting
  • Manage anyaudit requirements
  • Proactively forecastneeded resources insuring backup and efficiency of the organization
  • Design / maintain P&L model to assistwith planning audit and regulatory needs Design / maintain cashflowmodel to assist with planning and audit
  • Arranging compliance and legal framework
  • Responsible to select the legal tax and administration serviceproviders
  • Oversight of legal documentationfor transactions
  • Oversight of all HRrelatedfunctions (including payroll benefits contracts) possibly also forfamilyrelated hired profiles (example: house manager housekeepernanny homeschool teacheretc.)

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven experience asChief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR Finance marketingetc. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and businessdevelopment
  • Working knowledge of dataanalysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadershipabilities
  • Aptitude in proactivitydecisionmaking and problemsolving BSc/BA in
  • Engineering or Business Administration orrelevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Entrepreneurship skills are very welcome
  • Atleast 10 years experience ideally with a stronglegal/accounting/tax background from management consulting or audit(MBB / Big Four preferred)
  • Undergraduatedegree MBA/Masters strongly preferred
  • Analytical skills and technical leadership
  • Problem solver
  • Complianceoriented andfamiliar with the compliance requirements in different locations
  • Detailoriented andgoaloriented
