  • Organising classroom provision, learningresources and creating displays to encourage a positive andengaging learning environment
  • Planning,preparing and presenting sessions that cater for the needs of thewhole ability range within the classestaught
  • Motivating pupils with enthusiastic,imaginative teaching
  • Observing and assessingchildren in line with the school assessmentpolicy
  • Being reflective of the classroomprovision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjustingenvironment, planning and curriculum to reflectthis
  • Ensure the Mamoura British Academy Teacherand Learner DNA language and attitudes are being embeddedthroughout the curriculum.
  • Assessment andData:
  • Taking responsibility for the progress ofclasses taught
  • Meeting requirements for theassessment and recording of students’ development usingthe schools designated assessment system
  • Usingdata provided by assessments to influence further planning,provision and intervention
  • Providing feedbackto parents and carers on a students’ progress at ParentTeacher Conferences and othermeetings.
  • Behaviour Management andDuties
  • To follow and proactively implement theschool’s Behaviour Policy
  • Manageclasses effectively, using approaches which are appropriate tostudents’ needs in order to inspire, motivate andchallenge pupils
  • Maintain excellentrelationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and actdecisively when necessary within the school’s BehaviourPolicy
  • Be a positive role model and demonstrateconsistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour, whichare expected of pupils
  • Have high expectationsof behaviour, promoting self-control and independence of alllearners
